The humble servants of the Promised Messiah, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, peace be upon him, celebrated New Year’s Day in Western Region, Kenya in accordance with guidance from Hazrat Amirul Momineen, Khalifatul Masih V, may Allah be his Helper.
Congregational Tahajud and Fajr prayer and Dars-ul-Quran was attended by 185 members of the Jamaat, including Lajna, Nasirat, Atfal, Khuddam and Ansar from 11 Jamaats.
Thereafter, 247 members performed waqar-e-amal in the following areas:
1. Shianda Market and the surrounding area (16 khuddam, 14 atfal and 1 nasir)
2. Ahmadiyya Mosque and Ahmadiyya Hospital Shianda (23 Lajna members and 5 nasirat)
3. Musamba Mosque and school compound
4. Ndivisi Mosque compound and market (14 members of the Jamaat)
5. Namusasi Mosque compound
6. Ematawa Mosque compound
7. Kakamega Mosque compound
8. Buhuru Mosque compound
9. Elwaminyi Mosque compound
10. Inyesi Mosque compound
11. Shibinga Mosque compound and neighborhood
A total of 257 members attended these activities. Alhamdolillah.
